53 days to go before my elder daughter (Caroline) and I board an Emirates flight from our Mother City, Cape Town, South Africa, bound for Delhi, India (via Dubai). We are due to arrive on Tuesday 21st May 2013 and will be starting an eleven day "Taj & Raj" On The Go Tour, in northern India.
After two nights in Delhi, we board the Shatabdi Express train early on Thursday morning, bound for Kalka via Panipat, Kurukshetra, Ambala, Chandigarh. Here, we will rendezvous with my younger daughter Natalie and board the narrow gauge Himalayan Queen "Toy Train" travelling to Shimla.
